Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join our small specialty coffee shop. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and helping create a welcoming environment for our guests. Part-time and full-time barista roles available in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coffee Preparation:

• Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, batch, and specialty beverages.

• Maintain consistency and quality in every drink, following our recipes and standards.

• Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately, ensuring a positive experience.

• Provide recommendations and share knowledge about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu items.

• Shop Operations:

• Keep the coffee bar and seating area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety standards.

• Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring freshness.

• Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with team members to create a supportive and efficient work environment.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service and operations.

• Continuous Learning:

• Stay informed about coffee trends, techniques, and our shop’s offerings to enhance customer interactions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista.

• A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about brewing and preparation techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
